About Us – The Journey of Amolak Honey
A Legacy of Purity, Passion, and Progress
In the heartland of Punjab, where tradition meets nature, one man's dream took root in 1997. That man was Mr. Bhupinder Singh Sandha of Patiala—a visionary who turned five humble bee boxes into one of India’s leading beekeeping enterprises. Today, Amolak Honey is a name synonymous with trust, purity, and innovation in the world of natural honey and bee-based wellness.
With over 5000+ bee colonies and operations spread across seven Indian states, Amolak is not just a honey brand—it is a thriving ecosystem of hardworking beekeepers, dedicated researchers, and committed environmentalists.
The Humble Beginnings – A Family’s Strength
In 1997, with limited resources but unlimited determination, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Sandha began his beekeeping journey with only five bee boxes on a small farm near Patiala. Inspired by the natural harmony of bees and the healing potential of honey, he immersed himself in the science and craft of beekeeping. It wasn’t just a livelihood—it became his life's calling.
With a deep respect for nature and a belief in sustainable agriculture, Mr. Sandha built Amolak Honey from the ground up, focusing on ethical beekeeping practices and educating rural farmers about its potential.
From the very beginning, his wife Mrs. Parvinder Kaur Sandha stood beside him, playing a pivotal role in uplifting the business. Later, their sons Jeevanjot Singh Sandha and Sagaldeep Singh Sandha joined the venture, bringing youthful energy and vision, helping scale the brand to new heights across multiple states. Together, the family turned a small initiative into a nationally respected name.
Expansion Across States
Today, Amolak’s beekeeping operations have expanded across seven states of India, including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Utrakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir. With over 5000 colonies, the brand undertakes seasonal migration of bees, following floral cycles and ensuring year-round honey production of the highest quality.
A trained team of beekeeping professionals and migratory experts carefully manage the entire movement and care of the bees. This migratory approach not only boosts honey quality but also supports local biodiversity by increasing pollination.
Global Recognition and Representation
Amolak’s commitment to excellence hasn't gone unnoticed on the global stage.
In 2012, Mr. Sandha represented India at the Flanders Expo in Belgium, showcasing the potential of Indian honey to a European audience. Later, in 2019, he proudly attended Apimondia, the international beekeeping congress held in Montreal, Canada, where experts from over 80 countries converged to share innovations in apiculture.
These global interactions helped elevate Amolak's production standards and introduced the team to international best practices in quality control, sustainability, and bee health.
Amolak Products – Trusted by Experts
Over the years, Amolak Honey has earned the trust of not just customers, but also medical professionals and nutrition experts. Many of its premium products, including raw multifloral honey, eucalyptus honey, ajwain honey, and honey blends, are now recommended by doctors and health consultants for their purity, natural healing properties, and immunity-boosting benefits.
The brand’s unwavering focus on non-adulteration, natural extraction, and minimal processing has made it a preferred choice among conscious consumers and wellness practitioners alike.
